Dear Subcontractor, Supplier or Valued Business Partner,
As many of you know, the Governor of the State of Idaho released an "Extreme Emergency" declaration today ordering all citizens to stay at home as much as possible and for "non-essential" businesses to close - both for the next 21 days.
We have met with personnel, clients and those who rely on our services and have determined our Security, Fire Alarm, CCTV and Card Key Access Systems, along with our monitoring and maintenance services is certainly considered an "essential" business. With that understanding, we will not be closing our office at this time and will be proceeding with "business as usual".
If the Governor's order is modified or other circumstances change, we will update as needed.
We are certainly living in unusual and unprecedented times. Guardian Alarms, Inc. applauds and supports the efforts of all officials involved to control/stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our communities and lessen the resulting economic impact caused by it. We are taking steps at the workplace and at home as recommended by the CDC and other health officials and encourage everyone to do the same. We hope that calmness, civility and compassion for all will prevail in these trying times. We hope and pray for the best outcome in all of this uncertainty.
We have an DHS exemption letter on file with our in work Contracts, along with an office copy. A copy is also with every technician and vehicle for inspection should the need arise and if we are stopped by any Agency within any enforced curfew. With the letter on hand, we are still at the mercy of Law Enforcement should they decide to have us not continue on our way and will notify those concerned if that should ever happen in a worse case scenario. We are planning for this, and hope that it does not come to that here in Idaho, but we are hearing from other parts in the Nation that Law Enforcement have challenged service contractors and the need to service their customers. Guardian Alarms, Inc. is, however, limiting travel within a 50 mile radius from Nampa, Idaho area as the center-point. Any travel outside of this area will be on a case-by-case basis and final consideration will be that of the President/CEO of Guardian Alarms, Inc. Any work orders already in the cue will not be postponed unless stricter measures are enforced by the Governor Brad Little.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
We look forward in getting through this working together and hope this all goes away as soon as possible. We value our relationship with you and thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you so much for your business.
